Director Spike Jonze has released the first trailer for his upcoming Beastie Boys documentary. Beastie Boys Story shows the history of the New York group, as told by surviving members Mike "Mike D" Diamond and Adam "Ad-Rock" Horovitz. Third member Adam "MCA" Yauch died of cancer in 2012.
It's not the first collaboration between the Beasties and Spike Jonze. Jonze also directed their 1994 music video for "Sabotage." The film Beastie Boys Story will premiere on IMAX on April 2, and on Apple TV Plus on April 24.
Justin Timberlake is opening up about some of the mischief he got into during his NSYNC days. On the Ellen show yesterday, the singer told the story about the time he and Joey Fatone broke into Alcatraz.
Justin said that even though he and the rest of the guys posed for pictures with the guides and guards that caught he and Joey, they still had to pay for the tickets and were let off with a warning.
Tom Hanks and his wife, actress Rita Wilson, are infected with the coronavirus. The two caught the respiratory illness in Australia where the Oscar-winning actor was working on an Elvis Presley biopic. Hanks explained they came down with what they thought were colds with body aches and slight fevers and chills. Tom says that they will continue to be tested, observed and isolated for as long as is required.
