It's been almost two years since Benny's broke our hearts.

For some people out there, Benny's truly was our "favorite store," as the jingle goes, and after they closed their stores for good, some of the vacant buildings have spent their ghostly days collecting dust and old memories.

I still remember the day I took one last stroll through the bare-bone aisles, with shelves lacking the life that was once plentiful of discounted items.

However, there is some good news that just might be the remedy we needed to heal the loss of the store we still hold close to our hearts.

There's a new website out there that is revitalizing the branded name that was once spread across the shopping plazas New England.

VintageBennys.com is owned by the owners of Benny's and they are now selling Benny's merchandise.

The website is selling hats, tees, fleeces, beanies and much more with the classic logo on them and I couldn't be any more intrigued.

In case you were unaware, the company is actually hipper than you might think. Their Instagram not only displays their product line, but is also encouraging anyone who purchases a Benny's hat or shirt to take a photo with it and hashtag #VintageBennys.

Know someone who was once in love with this store? Then perhaps this little memento would make the perfect gift for them. If only I knew about this website before Father's Day, I just might have got my dad something different this year.
