World Cup fever is taking over Southern New England, but now even non-soccer fans have a reason to celebrate.

Beloved Boston ice cream company, J.P. Licks, has introduced seven new globally inspired summer flavors in honor of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The new "J.P. Licks World Futbol Flavors" hit shops on June 3 and can be a fun way to support your favorite team—or just an excuse to eat more ice cream.

A Global Twist on Classic Ice Cream

Sadly there doesn't seem to be a Portuguese-inspired World Cup flavor on the new menu, though we humbly suggest Nata flavored ice cream would be a huge hit.

There are, however, flavors representing Scotland, France, Haiti, Ghana, England, Morocco and Norway. Each one of these limited-edition flavors was inspired by beloved desserts and beverages in the countries they represent and, honestly, each one sounds delicious.

Flavors Inspired by World Cup Nations

Like Sticky Toffee Pudding based off the quintessential English dessert. The ice cream is flavored with dates, molasses, butter, and brown sugar, with a ripple of caramel running through it.

Or maybe you prefer fruity ice cream, like the Cardamom Strawberry Swirl inspired by two flavors commonly found in Norwegian desserts or the Pineapple Coconut Sherbet that pays homage to Ghana's pineapple-growing history.

How Long Will These Flavors Be Available?

If these new flavors sound good to you, then get ready to grab one while you can. The "J.P. Licks Futbol Flavors" hit all 16 stores in Massachusetts on June 3 and could run out before the final 2026 World Cup match is played at MetLife Stadium on July 19.
