Woman Saved During Attempted Suicide on Braga Bridge
FALL RIVER — A woman has been saved from harming herself as she attempted to jump from the Braga Bridge in Fall River on Friday morning.
Massachusetts State Police say troopers and local emergency responders arrived at the scene at around 7:20 a.m. and found the woman trying to scale the protective fencing along the bridge.
The woman was safely removed by Fall River Police and placed into protective custody. She has been transported to St. Anne's Hospital in Fall River for evaluation and treatment.
