TAUNTON — Taunton police are investigating after a two-vehicle crash in the city Wednesday evening injured one driver.

Police said the 44-year-old woman was medflighted to an area hospital after the crash, which took place just after 7 p.m. on Wednesday near the Myles Standish Industrial Park.

First responders arrived to find two vehicles had collided at the intersection of Robert Treat Paine Drive and John Quincy Adams Road, according to police.

One person, a 44-year-old woman who was driving one of the vehicles, was lifted via medflight from the nearby BJs parking lot to a local hospital, police said.

Her current condition is unknown.

The other driver, a 60-year-old male, was treated on the scene.

Police said he declined to be taken to a hospital.

Taunton Police are actively investigating the incident.
