Woman Gives Birth on the Mass Pike

The Massachusetts Pike got a surprise this past Friday!

You know how kids always ask their parents about the day they were born? Well this new mom has quite the story to tell her daughter when she gets older!

The Boston Globe reports that a woman gave birth to a baby girl on the Mass Pike this past Friday morning. After state police and rescue crews from Natick responded to a 911 call at 6:26am, the baby had already arrived. Both mother and daughter were in great condition upon arrival and were taken to the hospital.

Mother and daughter are still doing just fine and now have such a unique story to tell!
