I can't be the only one who goes through the "to turn the heat on or not" debate every. single. year.

Maybe my body is in shock because it was almost 70 degrees yesterday morning and now it is a brisk 59 DEGREES INSIDE MY HOUSE. But every year I tell myself I'm going to wait until Thanksgiving to turn on my heat. Partly because my electric bill JUST went down from turning the AC's off and I'm into that, and partly (mostly) because I despise changing the filter things in the HVAC system - which I'm told you should do before you turn your heat on for the season. I'm pretty sure I've caved and turned it on before Thanksgiving every Fall since I moved into my house three year ago. But now, I feel like I have to be committed to leaving it off just to save my pride when I "brag" about not having it on yet.

In case anyone was wondering, I'm typing this wearing FOUR layers of clothing and am tempted to put on gloves. So I'm curious - how long do you go without turning your heat on / do you look as ridiculous as I do basically living in a snow suit indoors in the meantime?
