Before Walt Disney decided on building in Florida, there was a vastly different location that was set to be home to the most magical place on earth – St. Louis. In the 1960’s, Walt Disney drew up plans for an indoor theme park in downtown St. Louis. But problems with money pushed Disney towards its now home of Florida. However, the 13 pages of printed blueprints for the St. Louis park will be up for auction on Thursday.
