Happy Wet Nose Wednesday! Let's talk animals.

Animals bring so much joy to a household and if you are considering a new pet for 2025, consider adoption.

Each week, Fun 107 shines a light on one lucky animal that is up for adoption, and with the help of local shelters, we share their story.

This week, there's a package deal in Fall River that hopes to steal your heart.

Meet Violet and Thistle. Violet and Thistle were surrendered to the shelter together and it is unclear if they are biologically related, but they certainly look similar.

Violet, the darker tabby, is around 2 years old, and Thistle, the lighter tabby, is around 1.

"We would love if they went to their forever home together since they previously lived together," said Forever Paws Animal Shelter.

Violet and Thistle are incredibly sweet but very shy.

"They prefer cozy beds, crinkly tunnels, hideaways, and corners to spend their time in rather than be out in the open in the middle of everything," said the shelter.

They are quiet and mellow in nature and would do best in a calm home setting. Both Violet and Thistle seem to do well with other cats and the shelter feels they would do well with dogs that know how to keep their cool around felines.
