Fall River Dog Hasn’t Been Outside in Years & Needs to Feel Love [WET NOSE WEDNESDAY]
Happy Wet Nose Wednesday! Let's talk animals.
There are hundreds of animals on the SouthCoast waiting for a place to call home. Luckily, we have dedicated shelters that are giving these animals a fighting chance, but they still need forever families.
Every week, we give one animal the spotlight in hopes of finding their perfect family. This time, we head to Fall River where a German Shepherd hopes to steal your heart.
Meet Loki, a 7-year-old, 90-pound German Shepherd at Forever Paws Animal Shelter in Fall River.
This sweet boy was forced to endure a tough living situation.
"He hadn't been outside of the house in years, so coping with all of this is a lot for him right now," the shelter said
Through it all, Loki has remained resilient and was quick to show the crew at the shelter trust and love.
"Once he warms up, he's your typical loyal, goofy shepherd that enjoys belly rubs. He loves toys, especially chasing balls and bouncing around with them. He just needs someone with enough time and patience to get him to open up and show him that the world isn't as bad and scary as he thinks it is."
The shelter recommends that Loki be the only animal in the home and that children be at least 12 years old.
Loki is a big boy, but is excellent on the leash and ready to give a family all his love.
