Young New Bedford Dog Needs a Family to Play With [WET NOSE WEDNESDAY]
Happy Wet Nose Wednesday! Let's talk dogs.
Are you looking to add a loving dog to your family? Consider adopting from one of the many shelters on the SouthCoast. There are hundreds of animals living in shelters just waiting for a place to call home.
Every Wednesday, it is our mission to share the story of one local animal that is up for adoption in hopes of finding their perfect family. This week, we head to New Bedford where a young dog has become notorious for being a cuddle monster.
Meet Bo. Bo is a two-year-old, 55-pound pit bull terrier mix residing at Lighthouse Animal Shelter in New Bedford. He recently arrived by plane, and he made it known from the beginning that belly rubs are his favorite.
Bo is excited to meet anyone and everyone, and while the shelter is still getting to know him, they quickly discovered that he is full of energy and loves to cuddle.
"Bo needs to work on his manners but appears to be food motivated and he is eager to learn," said the shelter.
So far, Bo has been very social with other dogs. He hasn't met cats yet, but the shelter feels comfortable with testing it out.
Does Bo sound like a good fit for you and your family? Visit Lighthouse Animal Shelter online, like them on Facebook, and schedule a play date today.
Bo cannot wait to meet you.
