Kick-off the Summer With Prizes, Food, and Cold Drinks at Blount Clam Shack on the Waterfront in Warren

Summertime is shaping up to be hot, and Blount Clam Shack on the Waterfront knows how to kick it off in style.

I'm excited to announce the biggest party of the Summer so grab your calendars and clear your plate for Thursday, June 29th at 335 Water Street in Warren. From 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Blount is teaming up with Buzzard’s Bay Brewing, Westport Vineyards, and The Wright Scoop for a night of great food and fun with some epic prizes to sweeten the deal.

No other food pairs better with summer than delicious clam cakes, chowder, fish & chips, and whole-belly clams. You'll need to wash it down with something refreshing, so grab an ice-cold Golden Flounder from Buzzards Bay Brewing or a crisp Farmer's Fizz from Westport Vineyards. Be sure to save room for dessert, because there will be plenty of ice cream being scooped by The Wright Scoop.

There's always something fun happening at Blount and there's no better place to have a summertime block party than on the Waterfront.

By the way, if you just so happen to be a connoisseur of wine, I would highly suggest attending this event. I'm not permitted to say quite yet, but there will indeed be a grand prize that will be worth your while.

It's been a few years since I've indulged at Blount Clam Shack on the Waterfront, but I'll never forget the time I won third place in a clam cake-eating competition. With only 10 minutes on the clock, I was able to woof down 11 fat clam cakes, right behind the first and second-place winners who were able to get over 20 each. Talk about putting me to shame, but as I recall, Michael Rock only ate three so I'm content with 11.
