Viking Ship Set to Dock in Plymouth Harbor
The world's largest Viking ship, the Draken, sails into Plymouth Harbor this July.
Norwegian Viking ship, Draken Harald Hårfagre (Draken), announced Plymouth, Massachusetts as the second official stop on its Expedition America: East Coast Tour 2018.
The tour, slated to launch in July 2018, will bring the world’s largest operating Viking ship to Plymouth for a four-day stopover from July 17 – 20. Beginning with an arrival ceremony on July 17 and continuing with three days of ship tours and activations in the Draken Village, the Draken visit promises visitors an engaging look at the modern-day Viking spirit.
Draken will be docked at the Plymouth Town Wharf (9 Town Wharf) and visitors will be able to board the ship to see it like never before. Draken will allow guests to interact with the crew as they share their personal experiences aboard the ship.
The Draken will be docked in Plymouth Harbor from 10 a.m. on July 17 - 8 p.m. on July 20. Tours happen all day long, starting at 10 a.m., with tickets starting at $6 for kids over 5 (under 5 are free!), $12 for adults, and family packs are $30.
