It was the car giveaway heard all around the SouthCoast, and boy was it the perfect way to close out 2020.

Toyota of Dartmouth and the Friends of Jack Foundation teamed up with one goal in mind: to give back to healthcare-focused programs for children of the greater SouthCoast. The Friends of Jack Foundation works to bring Boston-level healthcare here to the children of the SouthCoast.

At about 1:15 p.m. on Tuesday, December 15, brothers Chris and Rob Zamitto did the honors of giving away a brand new 2020 Toyota Camry on behalf of the Friends of Jack Foundation in their brand new showroom located at 100 Old Faunce Corner Road.

One by one the Friends of Jack board members arrived with eager anticipation to find out who would win the new car. Fun 107 went live on Instagram and the locked entry box was opened and transferred into the "decision bucket." Chris Zamitto did the honors and the brand new Camry went to Rebecca Frysinger of Acushnet.

Congratulations to Rebecca, the Friends of Jack Foundation and to all of the staff and team members of Toyota of Dartmouth for a wonderful and successful giveaway.

Pushed back, right off of busy Faunce Corner Road is a 20,00-square foot facility where people can shop, wait and relax as their car is being tended to. Doors to the newly-renovated showroom opened up last month on November 1.

The comfortable waiting room and the sales offices were all upgraded to a modernized look that suits Toyota's image. And of course, there is the complimentary coffee/water/soda lounge while you wait. So if you're looking for a new vehicle, be sure to stop by Toyota of Dartmouth. If you think the building is impressive, wait until you see the cars. Just ask Rebecca Frysinger.
