This Little ‘Sesame Street’ and Cleaning Fan Needs a Loving Home [TUESDAY’S CHILD]
Aaliyah is a curious, fun-loving, happy little girl. One of her favorite things to see is other people happy. Aaliyah is a kid who absolutely lights up the room when she walks in.
She also might just be one of the world's biggest fans of Sesame Street. It's her favorite TV show, and she adores when Elmo's World comes on.
"She is so loving and caring -- all she wants to do is help," Aaliyah's teacher says.
After Aaliyah asked for a "job," her teacher finally gave her one that she is very excited about. Aaliyah is now responsible for watering all of the plants at her school.
She truly enjoys doing things like cleaning up, washing the table and helping to put things away. It gives the 8-year-old a sense of purpose.
Aaliyah would be a good match with a parent who will let her climb all over you. She really enjoys the sensory input. If you have the energy to keep up with her at the playground, that would be a huge plus.
Aaliyah, however, is not always in fifth gear. She also really enjoys snuggling at the end of a long day of play.
Aaliyah likes to learn new things, but can sometimes be hesitant when trying new foods or new activities.
"She has two kinds of smiles," her teacher says. "She has the big smile when she's happy and a side smile when she feels proud of herself."
