Valentine's Day is coming up in a couple of weeks.

If you are looking for something to wow your sweetheart, how about the most expensive restaurant in Massachusetts?

As you might expect, the restaurant is located in the newly revamped Seaport district of Boston.

According to LoveFood.com, the most expensive restaurant in all of Massachusetts is Menton (pronounced MAWN-tawn). It's a French restaurant whose name translates to "chin" in English, which would be a pretty funny name for a restaurant.

We called Menton to find out if there were still reservations available for Valentine's Day, and there were. Before you run to the phone to reserve your spot, you'd better brace yourself for the pricing.  A seven-course meal featuring a tasting of lobster, lamb and wagyu beef is $250 per person with a wine pairing for an additional $150.  Add on your tax and tip and you're looking at a Valentine's night dinner north of $1,000.

If you decide to go on a different night to perhaps avoid any potential Valentine's Day markups, you better bring the charge card.  The house martini is $40 and a bowl of pasta is $160.

In all seriousness, this is clearly a restaurant for the very wealthy. Menton customers are probably unlikely to scrutinize the menu for pricing. They are more worried about ordering food that I can't even pronounce and would probably hate eating.

The ambiance, though, is 10 out of 10.

Celebrity diners would be interested in knowing that there are some options for private dining so that they can stay out of the public eye. One of the options overlooks the busy kitchen.
