The Low-Cost Rabies Clinic Returns To Southcoast
This is a very popular annual event for pet owners, and it returns to New Bedford this weekend. The low-cost rabies clinic is for pets in the city as well as surrounding communities, and is courtesy of New Bedford Animal Control.
This year's clinic is Saturday, April 7th from 10 a.m. until 12 Noon, and it happens at two locations. You can take your pets to the Hazelwood Park Community Center on Brock Ave, in the south end, or to the Brooklawn Park Community Center on Acushnet Ave in the north end of New Bedford. All the animals must be restrained. The cost is only $10 per pet.
The 2018 dog licenses for the City of New Bedford will also be availabe at the clinic locations on Saturday. Last year's licenses expired at the end of December.
