The Coat Rack Helping People In New Bedford Stay Warm

Looking to help those in need this winter? You can donate to a coat rack on Purchase Street in New Bedford.

Located next to the Family Dollar at 771 Purchase St in downtown New Bedford is a coat rack that is being used to help people stay warm during this crazy winter we've been having.

If you have extra winter clothing that you can donate you can simply stop by the coat rack and hang it up.

Then someone who may need that item on a cold, winter night can get it from the rack and be that much warmer.

As Twitter photos of the rack shows, several items have already been left for folks to warm up with.

Of course we still have a lot of winter ahead of us and more cold weather and possible snow supposedly heading through next week.

So if you can help out, drop of some warm items this weekend and help keep folks as bundled as they can be this winter.
