T.F. Green Airport’s Live Music Program Is Taking Off
T.F. Green has been named the best airport in America and it continuing to give us reasons why we drive to Warwick instead of Boston to fly.
Let's face it, having to fly out of Boston isn't anyone's favorite thing to do when traveling, and if you can, you try to fly out of T.F. Green instead.
Aside from having more direct flights and destinations, Logan Airport has been trying to add some ambiance to lessen the anxiety of flying by having live performances from local talent.
A program they began earlier this year called "Live at Logan."

T.F. Green Has a History of Featuring Local Musicians
The Rhode Island airport also has no problem showcasing the local musical talent of the area. Recently, it had Austin Burns, a professional wedding musician and New England Conservatory of Music-trained singer and multi-instrumentalist. This isn't a new idea to Green Airport. It launched the PVD Volunteer Music Program back in 2021 and it has been a popular program that has only grown.
Double the Pianos, Double the Entertainment
The program has been so well received that the airport added a second piano, one for arriving passengers and one for those departing.
While there are no specific hours to which you can hear live music, there have been passengers that have arrived off delayed flights after 11 p.m. who have been able to enjoy live music after a long day of travel.
With top tier-talent like Austin Burns entertaining us, I think it's safe to say there is a reason why most people prefer to fly out of this Rhode Island airport.
Have you been able to catch some live music over at T.F. Green?
