Too old for kiddie Halloween stuff? Too young for the 21 plus parties? Then this night at Roger Williams Park Zoo is for you.

When you think Roger Williams Park Zoo in October, you most likely think of the Jack O'Lantern Spectacular. But they have plenty of other events planned this month too.

Like on Wednesday October 30th when they'll host Too Ghoul For School: An After Dark Event for Young Adults.

The night is a planned zoo party for teens aged 16-21 and gives them a place to celebrate Halloween.

As an older teenager there aren't too many options for Halloween if you ask me.

Maybe someone you know will have a party. Or you could be the older kids still dressing up and going around for candy.

But this night at the zoo sounds like a much better option to me. And probably to parents of teenagers too.

At least this way you know where your kids are for Halloween and exactly what they are up to.

And the Too Ghoul For School Event gives them plenty of stuff to get up to.

The event kicks off at 5:30 p.m. and runs through 9 p.m. and gives participants exclusive access to parts of the zoo, up close animal encounters and front of the line access to the Jack O'Lantern Spectacular.

Plus there are games, trivia, costumes (of course) and what the zoo calls "twists on classic Halloween traditions."

Perhaps that means candy of some sort?

Sounds like fun, but you do have to be a teen to go. Tickets are on sale now and the event is likely to sell out.

So if you are a teen or know a teen get more event info here.
