Teams Are Ready To Go For Sharon’s Walk

As we get closer to the big day, we are seeing more team-sprit when it comes to Sharon's Walk. 

Danielle's mom is being treated at the Center For Cancer Care in Fairhaven.  She has put together a team called "Sheila Rae The Brave", which now has 21 members, and has raised $1700 dollars.    Great job Danielle.   Another team is from "Sylvia's Insurance', with 12 members and $1200 raised at this point.   And there's "Pestoe's Pistols", a seven member team who has brought in $700.

There is still time to join us as an individual walker, or as part of a team.   If you can't do that, you can sponsor someone, or simply make a donation to the Center For Cancer Care.   Sunday the 30th will be a great day at New Bedford's Fort Taber.  We not only have the 5k walk, we have so many other activties that your entire family will enjoy, beginning at 9am.
