“Taylor Swift's net worth is $1.3 billion,” she said. “If she stopped working and withdrew 4% (safe withdrawal rate) of her net worth annually, her income would be $52 million a year. At that rate, the value of $1 to the average person in the U.S. is the same as $878 to Taylor Swift.”

Wolfe broke it down even further and showed the real cost of purchases for the average person and the relative cost for Swift (aka what it feels like for her), and it’s shocking.

A new iPhone would cost me close to $1,200. For Tay-Tay, that would feel like $1.37.

My favorite pair of Lululemon leggings set me back $98. For Swift, that feels like spending 11 cents.

The Price Tag of Taylor Swift’s Westerly Mansion

When Swift purchased her Westerly, Rhode Island, estate, she paid $17,750,000 ... in cash.

The price tag may have read $17.5 million, but the relative cost for the superstar was only $20,217.

It’s hard to comprehend the reality of a billion dollars, and when you see it through numbers, it doesn’t even seem real.

No bad blood here, though! Swift has earned every dime to her name and she continues to give back whenever she can.

At any price, paying for a mansion is a pretty big flex.
