FOX's 'Glee' might be absent from Comic-Con for the first time in years next week, but that doesn't mean the long-running FOX musical dramedy lacks for big news going into season 5. 'American Idol' runner-up and glam icon Adam Lambert has been announced to join the cast of 'Glee' season 5, and frankly, we're surprised it took him this long.

If there is a death knell of 'American Idol,' it seems as though this news could be the first ring. The notoriously successful tour that follows each season of the show has been forced to cancel nine tour stops on this year's foray. This is a bad sign.

Never one to bite her tongue, Minaj responded to the rumors and Jackson confirmed that he has, in fact, decided to call it quits.
