Their jet is parked there, so why not make T.F. Green the official airport of the New England Patriots?

This Wednesday the airport made things official and agreed to be named the football team's official airport.

According to the Providence Journal, this agreement is in exchange for the airport waiving the estimated $1 million in fees it would cost the team to house their two team jets in Rhode Island each year.

One jet is at T.F. Green right now, the back up is housed at Quonset State Airport in North Kingstown.

The Patriots have yet to comment on the new partnership.
