Jeff Probst’s Mount Rushmore of Survivor Legends
Probst made the rounds on the red carpet at the Austin Film Festival this fall. While there, he was asked about the milestone season ahead and some of the most iconic competitors to ever play the game.
He was asked who he would place on a Survivor Mount Rushmore and his selections included a couple New Englanders.
"Gotta be Boston Rob, Sandra, Tony and Parvati," Probst said.
New Englanders Have What It Takes
Boston Rob and Sandra Diaz-Twine, both New Englanders, have had great success throughout the 25-year run of the show.

Boston native Rob Mariano has appeared on Survivor six times, competing in five seasons and mentoring in a sixth. Though he's a seasoned player, he only took the grand prize once.
Sandra Diaz-Twine, from Stamford, Connecticut, is the show's first two-time winner. She took home the million-dollar prize on Seasons 7 and 20.

More Winners and Players
The other two contestants also hail from the East Coast. New Jersey native Tony Vlachos took the title on both Season 28 (Cagayan) and Season 40.
Parvati Shallow, from Vero Beach, Florida, has competed five times. She first won in Season 16 and again in Season 13 of the Australian version, Survivor: Australia V the World.
"I think those four are undeniable. Etched in stone," Probst said. "They get every vote from every fan and every other player, so I would put them."
