I’ll be the first person to tell you to stop talking about fall and winter when summer isn’t even over yet. But as I look out the window at Tropical Storm Isaias traveling through my neighborhood, I find my mind wandering to more appealing weather conditions, like a crisp, autumn day or a snowy white day in December.

International Delight fueled my fire a little more when I came across its limited-edition coffee creamer flavors that hit the shelves this month, and they aren’t the only brand kicking it up a notch with seasonal flavors. It’s time to sing loud for all to hear because holiday flavors are making their way into stores a few weeks – or maybe even months – early.

If you’re a coffee lover like me, buckle up. International Delight is definitely upping their game with the holiday flavors, combining seasonal favorites with one of the greatest movies of all time, Elf. Their Elf-inspired flavors include Caramel Waffle Cookie, Peppermint Mocha, and Frosted Sugar Cookie. I can’t believe they didn’t make a syrup flavor, seeing how it’s a part of Buddy the Elf’s four food groups, but these three definitely have me craving some wintertime flavor.

International Delight is not alone in stocking the shelves with holiday-inspired treats. Nestle Toll House is teaming up with the iconic Sanderson sisters for Hocus Pocus cookies. I am all over these as soon as I see them in stores. I’m also looking forward to the Oreo-flavored candy canes to give a holiday classic a dessert twist. I may sneak those into my own stocking this year.

We still have plenty of summer left, but it’s okay to prepare your palate for the seasons to come, and there are plenty of opportunities coming our way.
