Stunning Newport Cliff Walk Mansion Boasts Biggest Pool in Rhode Island
It's a home with a lot of history, a lot of fireplaces, and a $14 million price tag. Though it would taking hitting a massive lottery jackpot for me to buy it, it's certainly fun to look inside and see how the other half lives.
Just off the Cliff Walk in Newport are streets filled with mansions. When one of them goes on sale, you just have to look inside. That is just how I felt when I saw this $14 million home on Narragansett Ave in Newport on Zillow. I just had to look inside and I was definitely not disappointed with what I saw.
This house literally has everything you would imagine the uber-rich having, and then some. The best part is the when you buy this house, you are actually getting almost everything you see in these photos. The house is being sold with the antiques, art work and furniture along with it, which is probably why the price tag is so big.
The 16,544-square foot home is being sold by Vanderbilt International Properties Ltd, which just feels so right for this late-1800s mansion that sits just a half mile from the Vanderbilts' former summer home. This house, too, features some very turn-of-the-century style and décor.
From the Victorian-era smoking room and card room to the more modern home theater and full spa, this house really does have it all. That's not to mention three swimming pools, over four acres of gardens, and a meditation stone labyrinth. This house is a must-see.
