Story Land Launches New Happy Hauntings Event This October
Not making it to Story Land this summer? No worries, the family-favorite theme park will be open extra weekends this fall for the all-new Happy Hauntings event.
What's more beautiful than a fall weekend in New Hampshire?
This season, you can spend some time in the mountains while enjoying what Story Land calls the "best new way to Halloween in New Hampshire."
Though Story Land has often stayed open into October in the past, the Glen, New Hampshire, theme park announced that this year it will be open through the entire month to start a new Halloween tradition.

Happy Hauntings will let families enjoy their favorite rides in the cooler weather, watch Halloween shows featuring fairy tale villains, participate in scream contests, scary-oke and a bubble dance party.
Kids can also paint pumpkins in Cinderella's Pumpkin Patch and enjoy in-park trick-or-treating on an interactive fairy tale trail.
Story Land celebrates 70 years of operating one of New England's favorite family attractions this season, but this is its first season celebrating Halloween at the park.

To say families are excited is probably an understatement. The comments on Facebook started pretty quickly with fans saying things like, "This is just what I was hoping to hear!!!" and "Storyland with a hoodie… can’t wait."
Happy Hauntings will kick off in October, but before then the park will host a few more Nostalgia Nights for the 21-plus crowd on July 13 and 27, and August 10.
