Spooky Zoo Happening This Weekend In Providence

Roger Williams Park Zoo is hosting their annual Spooky Zoo event this Saturday and Sunday.

Get the kids dressed up a few days early for Spooky Zoo at Roger Williams Park Zoo in Providence.

The annual event is daytime Halloween fun at the zoo!

Kids are encouraged to come in costume and trick-or-treat at the zoo (while supplies last).

Yowie will be handing out samples of their tasty chocolate that comes with an animal collectible and fun facts about the animal's traits and habitat. (It's educational candy parents!)

Trick-or-treating starts at 10:30 a.m. at the "treat trail" near the end of the red wolf exhibit.

And even if you want to skip the candy, there's plenty of activities to take in, like animal encounters, the annual elephant pumpkin stomp, a picture booth, sculpture making and more.

Plus on Saturday Star Wars characters will be at the zoo and on Sunday folks from Rhode Island Comic Con will be on hand!
