Special parking permits for those living around Kennedy Park will be available soon for the 2015 Great Holy Ghost Feast of New England.

According to The Herald News, those vehicles who do not display a special parking permit will be issued a parking violation notice and will be towed away.

The permits will be valid for the event from Thursday, August. 27, through Sunday, August 30.

Residents eligible for permits are those living at these addresses:

• Bradford Avenue, 380 through 651
• Middle Street, 517 through 685
• Eagle Street, 289 and 303
• Fountain Street, 311 through 358
• Mulberry Street, 358 through 384
• Division Street, 369, 381, 451 and 509

Deputy Police Chief Charles J. Cullen, will be handing out the special parking permits on Wednesday August 26, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., at Kennedy Park, on the corner of South Main Street and Bradford Avenue. In order to receive a permit, residents must present their motor vehicle registration certificate. Those who are unavailable at the designated time to pick up their permit may call the Fall River Police Station for special arrangements.
