Southcoast’s Safe Halloween Spots

For kids who live on busy, main roads...finding a place to trick or treat can be a tough chore.  Here are a few spots around the Southcoast that are welcoming children for trick or treating.

The Dartmouth Mall

The Dartmouth Mall's trick or treating night starts at 5pm on Halloween night and continues for the remainder of the night while supplies last.

The Silver City Galleria

The Silver City Galleria's Halloween fun begins at 12:30 with a special Mad Science Halloween presentation.  It will be followed by mall wide trick or treating from 1pm-3pm....with a kids' costume contest at 2:45pm.

The Swansea Mall

Halloween balloons will be displayed outside of participating stores for trick or treating from 5pm-7pm (or while candy supplies last).  Trick or treaing is for kids ages 12 and under who are dressed in a costume and accompanied by an adult. Masks are not allowed for adults.  Pick up a FREE Halloween Bag at the Information Center, while supplies last.

South End, New Bedford

The South End Civic Association is having a Halloween party and parade at Hazelwood Park.  It starts at 7pm on Halloween night.  The parade ends at Clegg Field, Clark's Point.
