After the year we’ve had here on the SouthCoast, it’s understandable if you want to get out and party this Friday night for New Year’s Eve. However, we all know sometimes that we can party a little more than we planned, and we need a safe ride home.

South Coast Towing Inc. will once again be offering free rides and towing to intoxicated drivers as part of its annual “Safe Rides Home” program. South Coast Towing has offered this program each New Year’s Eve since 2002.

This year, rides will be offered from 12 a.m. until 3 a.m. Intoxicated drivers will be able to request a free ride home, with their vehicle towed to their home as well.

It will not include Somerset, Swansea, Dighton, or Berkley, as it has in the past.

In order to request a ride, call (508) 995-9777 or visit the South Coast Towing website.
