Let’s be honest: teaching isn’t just a job, it’s a full-on calling.

Between lesson plans, grading, meetings, and somehow still showing up with energy for students every day, teachers definitely earn a chance to relax, especially heading into February vacation week.

That’s exactly what Last Round Bar & Grille in New Bedford (the spot many still fondly remember as the infamous Bar 908) has in mind this Friday, February 13.

February Vacation Kickoff Party

Starting at 3 p.m., teachers from any district are invited to stop in, kick back, and officially launch vacation mode with complimentary pizza and wings, plus plenty of drink specials to help shake off the school-week stress.

The team at Last Round put it simply:

“Join us for our February vacation teachers kickoff party! Free pizza and wings, all our drink specials, and all districts welcome. Come unwind with us!”

Well-deserved, to say the least.

A Little Appreciation Goes a Long Way

Teachers give so much to the community year-round, so it’s nice seeing a local hangout recognize that effort with something just for them. Whether you pop in for one drink, stay for the food, or reconnect with fellow educators, it’s shaping up to be a relaxed way to start vacation.

So teachers, consider this your official permission slip. Relax now and grade later – you’ve earned it.
