This Adorable Duo Has Been Voted the SouthCoast’s Cutest Couple

It's Valentine's Day and love is in the air, and true love never fades over time.

When you find that special person, it's simply magic. You just click. Then you wonder how you ever were complete without the other person. Many here on the SouthCoast have been lucky enough to find that love, and we wanted to have a photo contest to highlight them.

Without further adieu, here are the sweethearts you selected as the SouthCoast's Cutest Couple for 2025:

Glo and Joe from Dartmouth!

The Rusins will celebrate 55 years of marriage in May.

Their daughter submitted them to the contest and they apparently had no idea, because they were shocked when Fun 107’s MGM Show called them this morning to let them know they were selected as the SouthCoast’s Cutest Couple.

“You’re kidding me,” Joe said. “No, no way. No, that’s not possible.”

Well, not only is it possible – it was a landslide. The Rusins got a whopping 48 percent of the vote, with the No. 2 couple coming in at only about six percent.

The SouthCoast simply fell in love with Glo and Joe.

“Oh my goodness,” Glo said.

Joe said the secret to a long and happy marriage comes down to thinking of the other person.

“I treat her every day,” he said. “Coloring books, crossword puzzles, reading books, coloring pencils.”

And Glo gives it right back to him.

“I love him very much,” she said. “I show him my love every day, and he’s good to me.”

We should all be so lucky as to find a love like Joe and Glo Rusin have had for more than half a century. Hear it for yourself:
