Soap Box Derby Returns to Fall River

The Greater Fall River RE-Creation Soap Box Derby returns to Fall River on August 15th!  Last year dozens of families turned out to watch their children raced down the hill at North Park in mini cars that looked like space ships, race cars, muscle cars and more.  

This year's race is returning to North Park on Saturday, August 15th and is open to kids ages 5-12.  Whether you are pretty handy and want to work with your kids to build a car from scratch or if you need a little help via a car-kit to help you along- this is a fun way to work with your kids on their mechanical skills. Plus, certificates are being rewarded for the fastest car and the most creative car!

Registration for this event must be done in person at GFR Re-Creation's new building located at 45 Rock Street, in Fall River. The last day to register for the race is Wednesday, August 5th.
