Scott is a healthy and happy 7-year-old boy who has been described as very sweet, silly, affectionate and always ready and willing to give hugs.
He keeps himself busy with Legos and blocks. He enjoys being read to. Active and always on the go, he prefers solitary play to playing with other children. He attends school and receives weekly support services. He plays well with other children and loves school.
Scott will need a patient, supportive family that will provide him with routine. His new family must be willing to advocate for his needs and education, and must maintain his contact with his two siblings who live in western Massachusetts.

Who Can Adopt?

If you’re at least 18, have a stable source of income and have room in your heart, you may be a perfect match to adopt a waiting child. Adoptive parents can be single, married or partnered; experienced or not; renters or homeowners; LGBTQ+ singles and couples. As an adoptive parent, you won’t have to pay any fees. Adoption from foster care is completely free in Massachusetts.
