Seekonk Man Killed in Fall River Motorcycle Crash

FALL RIVER - A Seekonk man is dead after being thrown from his motorcycle in Fall River.

Massachusetts State Police say the accident took place on Route 24 north in Fall River at 10:25 p.m. Thursday when a 2006 EX640 motorcycle operated by 22-year-old Joshua Silva veered into a guardrail, throwing Silva from the bike.

Silva was declared dead at the scene.

The motorcycle was found about a quarter-mile north of the original crash scene.

The accident remains under investigation.
