Salem Is a Hot Spot for the Fall Season

When the temperature drops and the leaves begin to change, the urge to visit the iconic town of Salem takes over. It's a Halloween hub that offers a quintessential New England fall experience, but huge crowds have made the experience a little tricky.

During a recent press conference, Salem’s mayor Dominick Pangallo shared that the community of 44,000 people saw an average of 65,000 visitors on the weekends last season.

Officials urge visitors to use public transportation, and the MBTA will run additional commuter rail service at discounted rates.

Salem Shops Want You to Follow These Rules

Witch City Wicks is a quaint shop on Essex Street offering hand-crafted soy candles and a curated selection of books, home décor, and gifts.
