Thanksgiving is officially two weeks away and with prices still soaring at the supermarkets, it's going to get pricey to fill up the dinner table.

Unless you know where to look for deep discounts.

Dartmouth welcomed the discount market chain Aldi just last fall, but this season the store is really hoping to have you holiday shopping in their aisles with massive price cuts on Turkey Day favorites.

Aldi announced earlier this month that it would launch its Thanksgiving Price Rewind and stock the shelves with Thanksgiving appetizers, side dishes and desserts all discounted to 2019 prices.

That actually means an up to 30% discount on food for your Thanksgiving table -- sure to help SouthCoast families fill their bellies this season.

Plus, with the types of food Aldi offers, you can have a pretty fancy Thanksgiving without breaking the bank. Some of the already discounted items include brie cheese,  prosciutto, cornbread stuffing, wines, mini quiches, rolls, macarons and apple pie.

Just to give you an idea of the deals you get to score this season, boxes of stuffing are 75 cents, packages of dinner rolls 99 cents and pie crusts are $1.59.

So much food for so little money. Who doesn't love that?

No word on if the supermarket chain will extend these discounts through Christmas and help us all save on both our big holiday meals, but if you stock up at just the right time you are sure to keep the family fed through the season.
