Ryan Reynolds Hit By Car, Leaves Uninjured
Over the weekend, actor Ryan Reynolds was struck by car in a hit-and-run in a hotel parking lot in Vancouver, according to his publicist and Vancouver Police.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, "While walking, Ryan was struck by a paparazzi driving a car through an underground parking garage," publicist Leslie Sloane said. "The man fled the scene. Ryan is OK." And Vancouver Police reported that Reynolds was not injured during the ordeal.
Reynolds, born in Vancouver, has been in the city for last few weeks shooting his new film, “Deadpool,” in which he plays the lead role of Wade Wilson, aka Deadpool.
The Marvel Comic based film Deadpool is about a former Special Forces operative turned mercenary is subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers and adopts the alter ego Deadpool. The Marvel film is set for release in February 2016.
