Today is one of our favorite days of the year.  It's time for our annual Rock and Fox Radiothon.  We are live from the Sunrise Bakery and Coffee Shop on Dartmouth Street in Dartmouth where ownership has generously agreed to donate 50% of their sales this morning directly to Meeting Street and the Schwartz Center in Dartmouth.

Fun 107 holds this Rock and Fox Radiothon each year in support of the Schwartz Center as they head into their annual Meeting Street Telethon that can be viewed tomorrow night on WPRI Channel 12 in Providence.

You will hear from families who rely on the Schwartz School for innovative special education for their children ages 3 to 22 years old.  The staff at the Schwartz School provides both educational and therapeutic services for children with special needs.

More importantly, you will hear from two of the program's students.  The hosts of this year's Radiothon are Jaiden Joia from Wareham and Kindergartener Elicia Hernandez from New Bedford.  The duo will be joined by 9-year-old Dartmouth resident Bryce Clancy.  Bryce is a 4th grader at the Quinn Elementary School and has been committed to raising more for the Schwartz Center for the past four years.  Heading into this weekend, Bryce has already raised more than $1,000 cash.

If you'd like to make a donation today, you can simply stop into Sunrise Bakery and Coffee Shop to have some breakfast.  Half of all of the sales at Sunrise goes to the Radiothon.  You can also call the Radiothon line at (508) 742-6425.

This is the biggest fundraiser of the year for Meeting Street.  Last year's Telethon raised more than $1,000,000.
