Versus will open their doors at 42 Province St in Downtown Crossing on Thursday October 11th and it definitely looks worth the trip.

Described as the first arcade bar in Boston, Versus offers retro arcade games like Frogger, Mortal Kombat and Madden 19 in a high energy bar atmosphere with pop art from local artist Dirty DEK on the walls.

You can also order food while you game and the burgers, sandwiches and pizzas get served in Pac-Man lunch boxes, inside Frisbees and other fun 80s items.

The creators, Big Night Entertainment Group, seem like they have really thought of everything to give you an awesome, retro night out in the city.

And according to Boston.com, Versus will of course feature a bar with cocktails like an 8 Bit Old Fashioned and a Hendrick’s High Score. Keeping everything in the super fun gaming theme.

So if you're venturing out and looking for something new to do, how about a night of gaming with friends old school style.

Versus opens it's doors this Thursday. Regular hours after opening day will be Monday-Thursday 11 a.m. - 11 p.m., Fridays 11 a.m. - 1 a.m., Saturdays 5 p.m. - 1 p.m. and Sundays 12 noon - 8 p.m.

Game on road trippers!
