Lord of the Rings fans are going to love the latest dining experience being offered at The Preserves Sporting Club in Richmond, Rhode Island. That's because you can rent out one of their Hobbit Houses for a private lunch or dinner serving an upscale grilled menu paired with Maker's Mark bourbons.

You may have seen or heard about the Hobbit Houses at The Preserve, but you likely thought there was no chance for you to check it out. Back when The Preserve first opened, they were exclusively for members only and heading into the Hobbit House was a major member perk.

Lucky for us non-members, things have changed – slightly. You can now book a one-of-a-kind lunch or dinner inside one of the two Hobbit Houses on The Preserve property and embrace your inner Bilbo Baggins, but it will cost you. Meals start at $726.00 for four people and go up to $1452.00 for eight people, not to mention the gratuity and tax added in. Dang.

But if you are a major Lord of the Rings fan, have a super special occasion to celebrate or win a decent amount of money on a scratch ticket, why not splurge on an amazing and unique dinner? This could be quite the way to enjoy an intimate Christmas this year or propose to that special someone on New Year's Day. It's certainly not your every Friday night dinner out go-to spot, but the Hobbit Houses at The Preserves should go on your restaurant bucket list for sure.

Speaking of Celebrating, Here are all the local restaurant's serving Thanksgiving dinner this year

Here's a list of restaurants on the SouthCoast that will be offering a traditional, mouth-watering dinner on Thanksgiving day. Let someone else do the cooking and cleaning for a change.
