Everything You Need to Know About Rhode Island's Pride Festival

On Saturday, June 15^th New England’s largest LGBTQIA+ PrideFest returns to Downtown Providence for a night of celebration.

Festival gates open at 11:30 am, followed by the illuminated night parade kick-off at 8 pm, and it promises to be a day of inclusion and fun.

Rhode Island Pride’s Mission

Originally formed in 1976, Rhode Island Pride aims to commemorate the state’s diverse heritage, foster inclusion, educate and create awareness of issues, and celebrate achievements in equality.

Rhode Island Pride presents PrideFest & Parade on June 15^th at District Park, 120 Peck Street in Providence, for a day that brings the community together with music, vendors, activities, and more.

What to Expect at PrideFest

PrideFest Mainstage: A star-studded lineup is hitting the main stage this year, with headline performances by Grammy Award-winner and recent semi-finalist on The Masked Singer, Thelma Houston, RuPaul’s Drag Race stars Yvie Oddly and Xunami Muse, and American Idol sensation Blake Lewis.

21+ Beer, Wine, & Spirits Tent- Across from the festival main stage, take your pick from 8 full-service bars. Must be 21 to enter.

Festival Vendor Exhibition- LGBTQ+ and ally-owned businesses, local artisans, and community organizations come together for a unique shopping experience, offering colorful merchandise and one-of-a-kind crafts.

PrideFest Kids Zone- A family-friendly area from 12 pm to 3 pm, offering activities to entertain children and their families. Programming is provided by the Providence Children’s Museum.

Illuminated Night Parade- The parade will kick off at 8 pm and be viewable from multiple locations throughout the city. Dorrance Street, Washington Street, and Weybosset Street will give you perfect views of the celebration.

No Ticket Purchase necessary- No ticket is required to enjoy the festival, however, a $5 donation at the festival gates is encouraged.
