
Two Gun Deaths in Raynham Home Under Investigation, Children Unharmed
RAYNHAM (WBSM) — An investigation is ongoing after two people died from gunshot wounds in Raynham on Friday.
According to Bristol County District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn III, Raynham Police responded to 134 Elm Street at about 12:05 p.m. on August 8 after receiving a 911 call.
Police arrived at the residence and saw no signs of forced entry. They entered the home and found two minor children who were unharmed. After forcing their way into a locked second-floor bedroom, they discovered the bodies of two adults.

Mark Henshaw, 35, was found on the bed with an apparent gunshot wound to the head. Marie Hunt, 37, was found on the bed with a gunshot wound to her abdomen. They were pronounced deceased at the scene at about 12:39 p.m. by EMS.
The D.A.’s Office said both Henshaw and Hunt were residents of the home, and that there is no threat to public safety.
The investigation remains active and ongoing by Massachusetts State Police assigned to the D.A.’s Office and Raynham Police.
