A Viral Plea for Prayers

Caprio’s message quickly spread across social media. Within 12 hours, his post had already been viewed more than eight million times.

“Last year I asked you to pray for me and it’s very obvious that you didn’t because I came through a very difficult period,” he wrote with his signature humor and humility. “Unfortunately, I’ve had a setback. I’m back in the hospital now and I’m coming to you again asking you to remember me in your prayers once more.

"And so I ask you again, if it’s not too much, then you can remember me in your prayers," he wrote. "I’m a great believer in the power of prayers. I think the Almighty above is looking over us, so remember me please.”

From Triumph to Trial

Caprio’s update comes after what many believed was the closing of his cancer chapter. In June 2024, he announced he had completed chemotherapy and radiation treatments for pancreatic cancer, a diagnosis he described as “crushing.” Surrounded by loved ones at Baptist Health Miami Cancer Institute, Caprio rang the “bell of healing,” marking the end of a grueling six-month journey through chemo and five sessions of radiation.

Looking Ahead

While details about his current condition remain limited, one thing is certain: Frank Caprio continues to face each battle with strong belief in the power of prayer.
