Everyone is stuck at home and the creative juices have been erupting like an active volcano.

It seems to me that every day since the beginning of this self-quarantine lockdown, my social media has been flooded with memes, TikToks, and surveys pertaining to the new "at-home lifestyle" everyone is still getting used to.

As much as I love the birthday drive-bys and the Zoom video chats, I find that I've become somewhat of a fan of all the teachers out there coming up with creative ways to either reach out to their students or even just show their talented side.

Over at the Potter School in Dartmouth, an SLP (speech-language pathologist) by the name of Laurie Dionisio – or "Mrs. D" to her students and peers – posted a video on her Facebook showing off her singing skills, and I will admit, they are very impressive.

WARNING: If you're someone who gets songs stuck in their head easily, be cautious before clicking play below. It's a catchy song to the tune of "Part of Your World" from Disney's The Little Mermaid pertaining to her life at home and missing her students:

"During this time of great uncertainty, I’ve had to reach deep in my tool belt for healthy coping skills. It started with signing songs for Lent/ Easter and then today progressed to this- Lyrics by Mrs. Dionisio, Music by Disney, Inspired by Potter School" -Laurie Dionisio

We tend to forget that our teachers are an important asset to our children during these times of social distancing so whenever I come across these creative videos and messages, they're simply too good not to share with the world.

Sing on, Mrs. D! Way to make the Potter School and teachers all across the SouthCoast proud.
