Police Return To Fall River Apartment Complex
Police and emergency crews returned to the Fall River apartment complex on Friday where a pipe-bomb style device was detonated less than 24 hours earlier.
Police responded to the South Coast Landing Apartments on North Main Street around 5pm Friday. Less than two hours later, Police said nothing suspicious was found and the scene was cleared.
On Thursday night, State Police spokesman said an ``improvised explosive pipe-style device'' was discovered inside a container around 8 p.m. near a parked vehicle.
The device went off after a robotic device attempted to remove the cover of the container. No one was hurt. The matter remains under investigation.
