Police Investigating Serious Crash In Sandwich [PHOTO]

A two-car crash on Route 6A last night left two people on Cape Cod seriously injured.

As you can see from the photo above, both vehicles sustained heavy front end damage when the SUV and sedan collided head on.

Police say both drivers had to be pulled from their vehicle with the jaws of life and both were taken to South Shore Hospital with serious injuries.

The crash remains under investigation, but police believe one vehicle was heading east when it crossed into oncoming traffic and struck the second car.
