New Bedford Police responded Wednesday to reports of slashed tires on twelve parked vehicles in the areas of Myrtle Street north of Sawyer Street, and the 500-block of Summer Street.

Police received the initial complaint at 7:59 a.m. on Myrtle Street. Upon further investigation, police determined that twelve vehicles had at least one tire each that had been slashed.

Two other vehicles in the area had windows smashed.

The exact time the vehicles were damaged is not known.
